Traditionally, when a store or shopping centre requires a large screen, it would normally mean the combination of a number of LCD screens mounted such that it becomes a big display. However, LCD screens are made with a bezel and hence has a border around each screen, the end result is a large screen with lines through the final screen. LED screens eliminates this altogether. LED screen sizes are bounded by the controller card that is used as well as the pitch used. 

As an example, the latest controller controller card from Novastar allows for 8K resolution display with a maximum resolution of 7680px * 4320px. And using a 1.2mm pitch module, the total size of the screen becomes 9216mm * 5184mm. 

If 2.5mm pitch modules are used, then the potential size of the screen increases to 19200mm*10800mm. To understand more about pitch, please click here to read more.
